Do you know what makes a strong story?
Can you plan a plot that propels readers through a narrative?
Can you create compelling characters that are equally relatable and intriguing?
Award-winning YA author Randi Pink will cover all of this and more in Fiction Writing 101.
In this one-hour workshop, set for Tuesday, May 7 at 6:30 pm CT and hosted by See Jane Write, Randi will cover the basics of storytelling while also giving us a look into her writing process. The workshop also will include a brief writing exercise for attendees.
Randi Pink is the author of Angel of Greenwood, praised by NPR as a story “American kids need to know”; Girls Like Us, a School Library Journal Best Book of 2019, and Into White. Her forthcoming novel Under Heron's Light is set to be released on October 15, 2024.
